Gen Z is embracing a nostalgic back-to-school style, with baggy jeans leading the trend. The loose-fitting silhouette, reminiscent of the Y2K and tomboy chic aesthetics, has seen a significant surge in popularity. Zara jeans have been trending on Google, and PacSun's "Better in Baggy" campaign for fall 2024 highlights a 72% increase in baggy jean sales compared to the previous year. Straight and wide-leg styles are also popular choices. While high-waisted jeans remain a dominant trend, low-rise jeans are making a comeback, often paired with baggy silhouettes for a nostalgic vibe. Western-inspired styles, featuring classic Levi's and utility detailing, are another key trend this fall. Additionally, there has been a noticeable increase in brown washes and even bold prints like camo and leopard, which are two popular patterns for the season.
